SALE PROCESS

  1. Seller books horse and gets charged advertising fee.

  2. Bad Ass Horse Sales sends Seller the Horse Sale Advertising Contract (the “Contract”).

  3. Seller writes the horse description for the catalog ad (“Ad”) and sends pictures and videos to showcase.

  4. Once Contract is signed and fees are paid, the horse gets a scheduled catalog date.

  5. If Seller wants to change the Ad after this time, an additional $50 is charged by Bad Ass Horse Sales. This charge is applied and payable every time the Ad is changed. Fees must be paid before Ad is posted or Ad will not be posted.

  6. The preview will start when Ad is posted.

  7. The sale starts at 8 PM as advertised in the Ad. Sale runs for 48 hours and ends at 8 PM on the last day, as advertised in the Ad.

  8. If reserve price is not met then the horse potentially sells after the sale to one of the highest bidders. The highest bidder gets the first option. Bad Ass Horse Sales will notify the highest bidder to start the conversation. If the horse does not sell the seller does not pay any extra fees.

  9. If the horse meets the reserve the Bad Ass Horse Sales will notify the successful highest bidder (the “Buyer”). The Buyer has 40 hours from the end of the sale (being until 12:00 PM Mountain Time in Alberta on the second day after the sale end date) to send the successfully bid amount of money (in the correct currency as per the advertisement) to the Seller. If funds do not arrive, then the next highest bidder has the chance to buy the horse and will be so notified by Bad Ass Horse Sales.

  10. Buyer and Seller make all arrangements to exchange the delivery of the sold horse. Bad Ass Horse Sales has a great relationship with a few horse transportation companies that can be referred, on request, for the buyer and/or Seller to contact. Horses that are sold crossing the Canada and USA boarder, will most likely have brokerage fees paid for by the Seller (this confirmation will be in every advertisement).

  11. At the end of the advertised sale time, a sale to the highest bidder is FINAL.
